About Landini
The history of Landini has always been characterized by a strong
innovative style with an eye cast towards the future. This tradition
began in 1884 when Giovanni Landini founded the company in Fabbrico.
The aim of Landini was to lay the foundations of a dream: to design
and manufacture machinery capable of towing agricultural equipment,
in particular the plow.
Landini worked very hard and thus the first hot bulb engine was
manufactured in Fabbrico in 1910. This was followed by the first
genuine tractor for agricultural use, completed in 1925. From that
moment, the Fabbrico factory became the most important production
center for agricultural tractors in Italy, and a range of
increasingly specialized tractors was developed.
Right from its origins the company had always been extremely
sensitive to market demands and it was this product specialization
which led to Landini becoming a market leader in the sector. Indeed
the company name is now recognized throughout the world.
The acquisition of the company by the Morra family, through the
holding Argo SpA, means that Landini has now become part of an
important industrial group able to compete on a world level.
The newest generation of tractors mirrors the renewal of the company
which, by taking strength from its solid tradition, aims to manufacture
an increasingly complete range of products, distinguished by quality
and style, to satisfy all demands within the agricultural sector.
